Working Girl

Today started with me typing notes from a meeting the whole auction committee had the other day, which,  other than some questionable handwriting, was not a hard task.  I then measured various art pieces and created item sheets for them.  Some of the painting were rather odd so it was at times difficult to create descriptions that might entice someone to actually buy these items.  I figured wrinkled up scrap paper in a frame was probably not the best way to go.  That particular piece turned into a contemporary art piece with an innovative use of paper.  I then attached my beautifully crafted descriptions to the paintings and sent them on their way.

Next, I engaged in the highlight of my day: paper shredding.  I know that sounds lame, but the five year old in me took great pleasure in this activity.  Although the paper shredder started acting a tad temperamental but it eventually calmed down and the shredding could proceed.

The rest of my day was rather uneventful.  I organized a few certificate files.  I also made a bunch of phone calls to various donors asking them to come pick up their floor samples, etc.
