Field trips, field trips, field trips...

Wednesday culminated the second grade field trip extravaganza. After spending three days at the Gries center, on Lolley the Trolley, and then at the Western Reserve Historical Society, the kids were beyond ready to conclude what seemed like an endless schedule of field trips. Tuesday was an exciting day. Although quite rainy and gloomy, we all boarded the two trolleys. that would take us around Cleveland. As juvenile as it sounds, I was actually quite fascinated by the trolleys as I was able to see parts of Cleveland that I hadn't seen in a very very long time. Wednesday we had a little bit of classroom time in the morning, but then boarded the buses and went down to the Western Reserve Historical Society. The kids got to learn about maps and the history of Transportation. I wasn't required to do very much work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because the kids were mainly on the field trip, but Thursday and Friday mean back to work for me!! Nevertheless, all of that traveling through Cleveland has left me more than exhausted.
