End of the Week

St. Barnabas did not have school today so I had the day off. It was nice to sleep in past six for the first time in a long time and enjoy a relaxing day. Though I don’t have anything to report on today, yesterday I spent the morning making surf boards out of poster board that are going to be used for a Student Council activity. This took up quite a bit of my morning. After finishing the surfboards, I supervised three eighth graders make up a science lab outside. When they finished, I graded the remainder of the quizzes that the seventh graders took on Monday. By the time I finished, it was time for the first eighth grade class of the day. I was not able to teach this class on Wednesday since I arrived late because of my AP exam so I did a short review with the students and then jumped right into the lesson I had done on Wednesday. In the following two eighth grade classes, I reviewed what they learned so far during Wednesday’s lesson and finished up the rest of the Prezi. Many of them asked me if I had candy for them again since I gave it to them on Wednesday, which made me laugh. All in all, it was a very productive and enjoyable week and I can’t wait to start again on Monday!
