Walnut Wednesdays

Totally forgot to write one of these for the later part of the week so these are a little late. However, on Wednesday Hodge Podge went down to Walnut Wednesdays, a meeting for about 10-12 foodtrucks to sell food on the intersection of Walnut and 9th street. I learned that there is a manager that takes care of which food trucks will be selling food on which days/month so that each truck gets a chance to profit. The fee for the 2 hours of selling food is 25 dollars, but thats really nothing compared to the money we made in that time. As usual we got there at 11am and started by 1130am. I was warned that it would be a busy day, but I did not really understand what they meant until 11:35am. 5-10 minutes after we opened we already had a line of 20 people and the line kept growing. The waiting time consequently increased to about 10 minutes from the usual 5, but the food was just as good. After 2 hours of insanity we came out of Walnut Wednesdays with $1,000 which is our goal for every day. It was a pretty fun day overall.
