Today, I did a lot of sorting and organizing. I sorted out the yellow sheets, the sheets that had corrections, etc. The post-auction area was apparently in dire need of sorting and I was the man for the job. I also learned how to use the very advanced copy machine, which will apparently staple things for you, which I thought was really cool. Plus, the copy machine needs a code before you can use it which my supervisor gave me today, which made me feel like a legitimate worker. In keeping with that, I was also given an ID badge today with some hideous picture of me on the front in ghastly lighting that I'm forced to hang around my neck as if I'm proud of it. Which I totally am. Proud of my ID, that is. It makes me feel legit. I mean, it tells the whole world that I have access to the elevators. I'm kind of a big deal. But anyways. Today was a pretty secretarial day at the office. I got a few paper cuts in the midst of my sorting. Nothing too eventful. The most exciting thing that happened was when I thought I accidently broke the aforementioned high tech copy machine by entering 200 copies instead of 20. This sudorific event was short-lived when I discovered the cancel button. So all in all an okay day.
